REPLACING GUTTERS, FASCIAS AND SOFFITS
- Upon arrival, the first task we take on, is removal of all your old timber roofline – facias, soffits, guttering and barge boards. This will give us a blank canvas and allows us to check for any damage that may be present, but not visible. We also proceed to check under the first row of tiles and will remove any corroded felt /debris that will may have built up (This can potentially prevent ventilation, which is crucial to your roofs integrity.
- We will securely fit the new uPVC Fascias and soffits and ensure everything is help in place with new fixings.
- We will ensure that a new ventilation system is fitted and concealed above the Fascias. This will ensure that your roof is within the specifications of the latest building regulations and allows your roof to breathe.
- We will install a plastic felt tray which directs the rainfall from the tiles into the gutter, and, if instructed will also fit a bird guard or guttering hedgehog. These prevent debris build up in the gutters & save money in the long run as they remove the requirement of regular cleaning.
- Once fitted, we will reposition your roof tiles and replace any old box ends, with new single piece box ends.
- Once everything is back in place, we will then look to fit the new uPVC bargeboards and soffits – it is now that your new roofline starts to take shape. We will then look to fit all your new guttering & downpipes, ensuring that it is fitted at an angle that allows the water to flow freely without obstruction.
- Once done, we will then fully inspect all our work and check with yourself to ensure that you are totally satisfied with our work. If you are not, then it is not complete.
- And of course, it goes without saying, that we will then tidy up and remove all the rubbish from your premises.
